I've always had a thing for rice. When we were little, my sister and I used to eat leftover rice for breakfast. Just rice. We were weird kids.
When it comes to spanish rice, my secret weapon is Sazon. I've always found it in the ethnic foods section of bigger grocery stores. I know, I know, I make my taco seasoning from scratch, so why not rice seasoning? The reason is these little packets include saffron, which is fairly expensive. And I guess also because I haven't been able to replicate the big flavor in these.
To make your rice amazing, just add a packet to your water or chicken broth along with some salt. Sometimes I'll sauté an onion with garlic and olive oil and add that in as well.
And voila! Easy-peasy, authentic tasting spanish rice. Do you use Goya seasonings?

P.S. I'm wearing nail polish strips in these pictures, they came in my Birchbox and stayed on for an amazingly long time. I may have to get some more ;)
