... Went on two different brewery tours and did quite a bit of sampling.
... Watched an excessive number of TLC shows and weirdly enjoyed Alaskan Women Looking for Love.
... Tried making chili with ground turkey instead of beef - yum!
... Talked a lot of fantasy football smack to the boys in our league, despite my lack of skills.
... Bought some new fall pillows and blankets for our couch. Home decor doesn't count against the shopping ban, right?
... Managed to miss the entire Chicago marathon despite being surrounded by the course.
... Video chatted with my brother and his wifey in Korea while they were out shopping and helped them make some fashion decisions.
... Added a few more pumpkin scented candles to my collection, my house smells delicious!
... Made a stop in at Gyu-Kaku and had an excessive amount of red meat, sooooo goooood.
... Managed to avoid all of the Columbus Day sales, so much self discipline!

Home decor TOTALLY doesn't count as shopping! I love brewery tours, especially ones that give you more than 1 beer :)
ReplyDeleteI avoided the sales as well! We did good! I also watch a lot of TV shows, but on Netflix. It was a relaxing weekend.
