When I used to go out for St. Patrick's Day, it was all about getting as much green in as possible and going crazy with accessories (ahem, see here). Now I want to wear some green, but in a classier way. Here are a couple of ways I've worn green lately, from more casual to dressy styles. I loved that dressy look, but I'm probably going to go for the green cardi and some riding boots.
Tomorrow we're going to hit up a little breakfast party and then see where the day takes us. I'm not that into St. Patrick's Day anymore, the past two years I've been home by 5 or 6pm. What I'm really looking forward to right now is our little trip to Key West next week - I guess we'll get to see how they celebrate!
Do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day? Have any fun plans for this weekend? I'd love to hear!

I'm heading to my hometown to celebrate with my entire town/home friends. And I'm looking forward to seeing my parents and cat as well :) Happy St Pattys Day!
ReplyDeleteThese are such cute ideas! I really love the last one. The skirt is so adorable on you!
ReplyDeleteThe cardigan and riding boots is my fav. Simple and green. :-)
ReplyDeleteI have definitely done the all-out wear all the green with crazy accessories in the past. Now I don't really celebrate it at all. Just to go out for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday which is on the holiday.
ReplyDeleteGreen is definitely your color! I have an Irish pub walking distance from my apartment...so that's where I'll be this year! Haha
ReplyDeleteSuper cute looks. I bucked the whole crazy outfit thing last year and wore a lace top with a mint cardigan. Does that mean we're old or just well-dressed? (I'm obviously picking the second one.) This year I just couldn't do the downtown St. Patty's day thing. My friends always pick Butch Maguire's which is easily the most overcrowded bar in the city. So maybe this is the part that makes me old...
