Summer Sandals
Is it just me, or do last year's sandals always look pretty sad by the time warm weather rolls around again? I tend to be grossed out by most of my sandals come spring, no matter how much I loved them the summer before. I guess that's what happens when you wear them every day for months without socks ;) I'm guessing the famous Target glitter sandals will make it another year, but here are some pretties to replace my current sandal collection:

I feel the same way about my sandals! I love buying a new pair (or five) every year :)

It's a crime that I don't actually own a pair of sandals -I know, I know! I have flats and flip flops but nothing in between! There's a Target near my office so many I'll put my big girl pants on and go check these out!
ReplyDeleteI'm always on the hunt for new sandals. For some reason I hate spending money on shoes (read sneakers/flats/heels) but sandals I'm all over! I end up buying wayyy too many of them each summer!
ReplyDeleteTOTALLY agree! I tend to buy inexpensive pairs every year so they're pretty beat up by the time the next year rolls around. (Although I'm also hanging onto the famous Target glitter sandals!) I finally sucked it up and just bought the J. Crew bejeweled sandals. It felt somewhat shameful buying sandals over $100, but I'm hoping that J. Crew leather holds up for a long time...

YESS! i haaaaaaate how my sandals look I can literally see where my toes were on all my old pairs. Guess it's just an excuse to go shopping haha!

Haha, I'm the same way with sandals. I have the same glitter sandals from Target, and I only wore them a handful of times last summer (I got them at the end of the season on clearance - woo!) so I'll be keeping them around this spring/summer, but I also think most of my previous year's sandals look pretty grody after a whole summer of wear. I think I tend to keep sandals for about two summers...that's their shelf-life :) That's why I usually get my sandals at Target or Payless. If I spend $10 on a pair of sandals every two years, I don't feel bad about trashing them when they are gross! :)
