Is this shirt anywhere close to a crop top? Definitely not. But it's also definitely the closest I'm ever getting to one. I like that this shirt is a little bit cropped, but includes some sheer fabric at the bottom to help me feel more covered. While the hint of crop did draw me to this top, what really got me was the color combo. I've really been loving black, blue, and navy together lately, something about the mixed neutrals feels very fresh and new to me.
I actually wore this to my sister's housewarming last weekend, but I can also see it wearing it again for one of my Thanksgiving activities next week - lots of space for an expanding waistline ;)

Tummy room is essential for thanksgiving. One year I acted like a rookie and wore a skirt that doesn't forgive. Dumb. Also, crop tops are a big no no for me too. On my 5'8" frame they end up looking like bras.
ReplyDeleteI love how effortless this look is, love. A perfect fall ensemble. If you get a moment, I'd love to hear your thoughts on my latest. :) xx

I'm not too keen on wearing crop tops either. This one is a great compromise with the sheer underlay. Cute!
